The post holder will undertake the appropriate level of training and is responsible for ensuring that they understand and work within the safeguarding policies of the organisation.

Shifa Foundation also participates in the Inter Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme, Misconduct Disclosure Scheme — SCHR. Description 

  • Recording of financial transactions (Receipts & Payments) in the financial system.
  • Processing utility bills, vendor payments, and administrative expenses for the Head Office.
  • Handling payments for SCOPE, SCRC Trails, and Beneficiaries.
  • Managing payments for IPD (Inpatient Department) and OPD (Outpatient Department) bills.
  • Recording expenses related to donations.
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements.
  • Identifying, resolving, and following up on reconciling discrepancies.
  • Performing the duties of a document controller.
  • Processing payments to restricted account beneficiaries.
  • Assisting in retrieving financial data as required by tax authorities.
  • Ensuring timely deposit of cheques into beneficiaries' bank accounts.
  • Coordinating with relevant parties for monthly reconciliation processes.
  • Submitting Withholding Tax and Sales Tax payments to the government treasury on time.
  • Filing Quarterly Withholding Tax and Monthly Sales Tax returns punctually.
  • Ensuring timely submission of EOBI (Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution) payments.
  • Processing payroll for the Head Office and all donor-funded projects.
  • Performing any additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
