Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
    • Oversee the implementation of community health programs, ensuring adherence to program objectives, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with community stakeholders, including local government officials, community leaders, and NGOs.
    • Monitor program progress, collect data, and prepare regular reports on program activities and outcomes.
    • Identify and address program challenges and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor a team of community health workers, providing guidance, training, and support.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and ensure timely completion of objectives.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment within the team.
  • Community Outreach:
    • Conduct community outreach activities, including health education campaigns, awareness programs, and community mobilization.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, fostering trust and collaboration.
    • Identify community needs and priorities related to health and well-being.
  • Data Management:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to program activities and health outcomes.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities and client information.
  • Resource Management:
    • Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
    • Identify and secure funding opportunities for community health programs.
    • Coordinate with logistics and procurement to ensure timely delivery of program supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Community Health, or a related field.
  • At least 05 years of experience in community health program management.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • Experience in community mobilization and outreach.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and social issues in the community.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in working with diverse communities.
  • Proficiency in local languages.
  • Experience in proposal writing and grant applications.
  • Knowledge of health information systems and data management software.
