Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, resource allocation, and procurement strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate construction activities, ensuring project milestones and specifications are met.
  • Assess and select contractors and subcontractors based on expertise, experience, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Track and report on project progress and KPIs, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and legal requirements, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Oversee and manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, plans, and change orders.
  • Conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication, troubleshoot challenges, and align on project goals.
  • Prepare and deliver consistent reports on project status, highlighting key milestones, budget status, and any major developments or risks.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring adherence to local building codes and regulations.
  • Perform comprehensive project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide leadership to the project team, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Construction or Project Management is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent), project scheduling tools, and cost estimation software.
  • Experience with CAD software for design reviews, plan adjustments, and coordination with technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, and prioritization.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, CAD drawings, and construction schematics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage project teams and engage stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.
  • Fluent in English.

  Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional certification in project or construction management, such as PMP.
  • Knowledge of risk management and budget management principles.
  • Experience managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Understanding of local construction regulations, permits, and approval processes.
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and CAD tools.
  • Experience in construction contract negotiations and claims management.
  • Familiarity with lean construction principles and methodologies.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in project budgeting and cost control.

This is remote job and candidate shoud be available approximately from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM Pakistan time.
