Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Smart IS, you will lead and oversee project initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to define project goals, create detailed project plans, and identify potential risks while implementing strategies to mitigate them. Utilizing your expertise in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, you will facilitate continuous improvement and adapt project plans as required. This role involves managing a team of five dedicated professionals, providing them with direction, mentorship, and support to drive project success and foster professional growth. You will harness your strong communication and leadership skills to maintain a positive and productive team environment and keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and challenges.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Lead project kickoff meetings to establish roles, responsibilities, and expectations for team members and stakeholders.
Utilize Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to enhance team collaboration, promote adaptive planning, and encourage timely deliverables.
Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as necessary to stay on track toward project goals.
Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, proactively implementing mitigation strategies.
Facilitate regular team meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and foster open communication among team members.
Provide ongoing leadership and support to your team, encouraging professional development and addressing any performance concerns promptly.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, clearly communicating achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
Ensure that best practices in project management are followed, maintaining high standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle.
