Software Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Software Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing tests that focus on software usability. This role involves thorough testing, analyzing outcomes, and effectively communicating findings to the design team. Additionally, the tester will interact with clients to gain a clear understanding of product requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software and test design, possess excellent analytical skills, and stay current with programming and testing methodologies. Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review software requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios to ensure coverage of all functionalities.
- Execute usability tests to evaluate software performance and user experience.
- Analyze test results with particular attention to database impacts, errors, bugs, and overall usability issues.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting testing activities and share insights and recommendations with the design team.
- Engage directly with clients to clarify and fully understand product requirements and expectations.
- Participate actively in design reviews by providing constructive feedback on requirements, product design, and identifying potential issues early in the development cycle.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design principles and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in various testing techniques, including compatibility testing across different software environments.
- Working knowledge of programming languages to understand and evaluate software behavior effectively.
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate findings and collaborate with both technical teams and clients.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure thorough testing and accurate reporting.

Additional Information:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary Range: Rs35,000 to Rs45,000 per month
- Location: Lahore (Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting work)
