• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for website and backend system functionalities.
  • Perform manual and automated testing on web applications, backend APIs, and databases.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with developers.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure updates or patches do not impact existing functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and operations teams) to understand requirements and design tests accordingly.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices across the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide feedback on usability and suggest improvements for a better user experience.
  • Monitor system performance under various loads and user activities, ensuring scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and trends to enhance testing effectiveness.
  • Any other task assigned by the project manager.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in QA testing, preferably with a focus on websites and backend systems.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ability to write SQL queries.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of load testing and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
