We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior SQA Engineer to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, automation, and quality assurance processes. This role requires close collaboration with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Additionally, the Senior SQA Engineer will mentor junior QA members and play a key role in driving quality improvements and maintaining rigorous testing standards across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases based on detailed requirements and technical specifications. Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. Work closely with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and DevOps—to fully understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Lead test planning and strategy discussions to align QA efforts with overall project goals. Create and maintain thorough test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Continuously improve QA practices, tools, and processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Mentor junior QA engineers and assist in reviewing automated test scripts to foster team growth and maintain code quality. Ensure proper test coverage by applying requirements traceability and risk-based testing approaches.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Four to six years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, covering both manual and automation testing. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, including Java, Python, or JavaScript. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalents. Experience using REST API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.

Job Type and Compensation
This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs170,000 to Rs180,000.
