SQA Engineer

Cogent Labs is looking for Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineers to join their Lahore office. The ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in manual QA for both web and mobile applications. This role demands a strong understanding of QA methodologies and hands-on experience in creating test plans, performing functional testing, and conducting manual API testing using tools such as Postman. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments are essential. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the standardization of QA processes across multiple projects to enhance efficiency and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional testing and manual API testing using Postman.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile/Scrum framework to support timely software delivery.
- Contribute to the standardization of QA processes across projects to improve overall quality and efficiency.
- Report and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues promptly.

Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in manual quality assurance for web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing tools.
- Experience with test planning, functional testing, and manual API testing using Postman.
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation and testing purposes.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development processes.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing QA standardization across projects.
