Star Human Resource Services Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of Learning & Organizational Development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving training initiatives and implementing organizational development strategies that support employee growth and enhance overall performance. You will manage a dedicated team of 10 professionals, guiding them in delivering effective training programs and resources that meet the needs of our organization. Your expertise in training needs analysis, instructional design, and employee engagement will be crucial for fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the company. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the organization to achieve developmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses to identify gaps in skills and competencies across the organization, aligning learning objectives with business goals.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning and development programs that enhance individual and team performance, utilizing a variety of instructional design principles.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 10 Learning & Development specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee the administration and utilization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate access to training materials and track employee progress efficiently.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through surveys, assessments, and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve program content and delivery methods.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to design custom training solutions that address specific organizational needs and drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Implement and promote a coaching and mentoring framework that empowers employees to achieve their developmental goals, enhancing the overall learning culture within the company.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in organizational development to ensure our training programs remain competitive and aligned with current methodologies.
  • Support change management initiatives by providing training and developmental resources that prepare the workforce for new processes, technologies, and organizational shifts.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on training activities, outcomes, and employee engagement metrics for senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and future opportunities.
