The Field Monitoring & Data Officer will be responsible for ensuring the timely project data entry, cleaning, validation, integrity and support the donor reporting. He will be conducting spot checks for Behavior Change Communication (BCC) Sessions to verify the session attendance and other project MOVs. and. The aim of this position is to maintain data quality, integrity, and security while supporting effective decision-making within the project.

Main Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Management:

  • Accurately enter and clean project-related data into the database.
  • Ensure timely data collection, cleaning, validation, and submission from the field teams.
  • Perform data quality checks to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all project-related data.
  • Conduct orientation session with AM’s and SM’s on project related monitoring tools/forms and its proper filling.
  • Maintain project Grievance Redressal Mechanism database and regular follow-up with AMs for the unaddressed complaints.

 Field Monitoring & Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct spot checks of BCC sessions and school sessions to ensure adherence to project standards and MOV’s.
  • Verify data collected from Behavior Change Sessions, participant/attendance records, household (HH) listings, and quantitative reports.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of awareness campaigns in local communities and schools.
  • Identify gaps in field implementation and recommend corrective actions. 

Reporting & Coordination:

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on BCC sessions and behavior change outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) team to ensure data accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
  • Support capacity-building activities by providing data insights to relevant stakeholders, SM’s, AM’s including village organizations.

 Comply with the safeguarding and anti-fraud standards in working

Finance, Grants and Compliance:

  • Undertakes any other project relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor
