You will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping within our textile manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to optimize warehouse processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping of textile products.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory forecasting and replenishment.
- Implement best practices for warehouse layout, organization, and space utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize product damage and handling errors.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management, to ensure a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Supervise warehouse staff for order cutting, packimg and picking to ensure a smooth prduction process.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and other technology tools to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and generate accurate reports.
- Collaborate with transportation providers and logistics partners to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and optimize freight costs.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence within the warehouse and implement continuous improvement initiatives accordingly.
