Key Responsibilities

  1. Payroll Management:

    • Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
    • Validate payroll inputs, including leaves, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security, and other statutory requirements.
  2. Attendance Management:

    • Monitor and maintain attendance records through HR systems or manual tracking.
    • Verify employee clock-ins/clock-outs and address discrepancies in attendance data.
    • Coordinate with department heads to manage leave balances and approvals.
  3. HR Operations:

    • Maintain and update employee data in HRIS systems, including salary revisions and job changes.
    • Handle payroll queries and provide solutions to employee concerns.
    • Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of payroll and attendance data.
  4. Policy Compliance:

    • Implement and maintain payroll policies in line with labor laws and organizational standards.
    • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with attendance and payroll regulations.
  5. Employee Relations and Support:

    • Act as a point of contact for payroll, leave, and attendance-related inquiries.
    • Collaborate with employees and managers to resolve attendance and payroll discrepancies.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Generate payroll and attendance reports for management review.
    • Analyze trends in absenteeism and overtime to recommend policy adjustments.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll, attendance management, or HR operations
