We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Purchase Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Handling technical procurement of mechanical equipment, spare parts, and materials.
- Evaluating technical specifications, drawings, and parameters to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Liaising with international suppliers via email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Preparing and reviewing RFQs, POs, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Ensuring timely deliveries while meeting strict deadlines.
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Education: BS/BE/B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Experience: Fresh candidates or 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or technical purchasing (preferred but not mandatory).
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical parameters and supplier catalogs.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent English (written & spoken) for international correspondence.
- Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with foreign suppliers.
Soft Skills:
- Deadline-driven with strong time management skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and some engineering software.
