We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and managing CCTV systems, providing remote support for technical issues, and resolving IT-related problems across retail stores. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CCTV Monitoring and Maintenance:

    • Monitor CCTV systems for a 9-hour shift to ensure the security and functionality of the setup.

    • Troubleshoot and fix CCTV issues remotely when required.

    • Ensure customers are being happily served and quickly report any theft incidents to the owners.

  2. Retail Store IT Support:

    • Diagnose and repair computer issues in retail store environments.

    • Resolve POS (Point of Sale) software issues to minimize downtime.

    • Address Wi-Fi connectivity problems in store locations.

  3. Merchant Facilities Support:

    • Provide technical support and fixes for merchant facilities and equipment.

    • Ensure seamless integration and operation of payment systems and related hardware.

  4. Technical Problem-Solving:

    • Respond promptly to technical support requests remotely.

    • Document and track issues, solutions, and preventative measures to improve system reliability.

  5. Communication and Collaboration:

    • Coordinate with store staff and management to resolve IT issues effectively.

    • Communicate technical solutions in an easy-to-understand manner to non-technical users.

  6. Daily Operational Checks:

    • Ensure on a daily basis that all stores are open and running smoothly as the first task of the day.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, remote troubleshooting, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with retail IT systems, including POS software and merchant facilities.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving computer hardware and software issues.
  • Strong understanding of Wi-Fi systems and troubleshooting connectivity problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Timings: 4am- 1pm

Working days: Monday to Saturday

Saturday Timings: 4am - 8am
