Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping and Recordkeeping:
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records.
- Update ledgers and journals.
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Processing Payments and Invoices:
- Process invoices for payment.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of checks or electronic payments.
- Ensure proper authorizations are obtained for payments.
Budget Monitoring:
- Help track departmental budgets.
- Report on budget variances.
- Assist in preparing budget forecasts and reconciliations.
Tax and Compliance Support:
- Assist in preparing tax returns and compliance reports.
- Ensure that the organization complies with financial regulations and government rules.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports for management review.
- Help with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
Data Entry:
- Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets.
- Maintain records of receipts, disbursements, and other financial transactions.
Assisting with Audits:
- Prepare documents and data for auditing purposes.
- Assist auditors with required information during audits.
Reconciliation:
- Assist in reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and financial transactions.
- Ensure that discrepancies are identified and corrected.
