Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide reports and financial insights to the senior management team for strategic decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Develop annual budgets and forecasts for the company.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and handle financial obligations efficiently.
Payroll Management:
- Manage payroll processing and ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Maintain employee records related to salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
Tax & Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (Sales Tax, Income Tax, etc.).
- Liaise with external auditors for the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements and standards.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
- Develop, implement, and enforce financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and workflows for increased efficiency.
Financial Software Management:
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
- Stay up to date with the latest finance technologies to streamline processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in the retail or FMCG sector is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to perform complex financial modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
Education: ACCA/CA
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM (Mon-Fri)
