Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in expanding our agrochemicals business. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and achieving ambitious sales targets in your assigned territory. You will possess a deep understanding of the agrochemicals industry, a proven track record of success in sales, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets
Manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding our customer base and market share
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform sales strategies
Prepare and present detailed sales reports to senior management
Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agrochemicals industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
