• Conduct transit walk in the community for mobilization regarding the project “Early Recovery Program- FATA under JICA (Japan International Co-operation Agency).
• Formation of WOS (Women Open Schools) & FBS (Farmer Business Schools) in the community for the project.
• Training on WOS & FBS to selected community participants of the schools.
• Distribution of Inputs like, vegetable seeds for kitchen gardening, poultry and livestock to female beneficiaries of the selected schools.
• Reporting on weekly, monthly and quarterly to supervision regarding the ongoing and upcoming activities in the agency under “Early Recovery Program-FATA.
• Assess protection needs of IDPs of North Waziristan, Bara Agency & Kurram Agency assets to identify risks and vulnerabilities,
• Make regular field visits to monitor the protections problems and concerns of vulnerable people and groups: e.g. CNIC blocked, invalid CNIC, Loss of legal documents of IDPs, unregister families’ identification etc and there referrals.
• Conduct eligibility interviews or advise government officials on determination of IDPs status. In coordination with other relevant actors, advocate for humanitarian access and/or intervene with authorities in cases of violations of IDPs and human rights law.
• Identify potential partnerships to implement protection strategies and programs: eg psychosocial support, peer support, alternatives to institutional care for separated children.
• Assist in capacity building and dissemination of awareness / understanding of protection issues, Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement and refugee and human rights law, with local / international NGOs, government authorities and UN agencies.
• Liaise with other agencies/NGOs/government bodies/donors to ensure coordination, implementation of common standards in the field and consideration of protection issues in assistance programs.
• Prepare periodic reports on protection issues and activities.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of lower level staff.
• Engage in identification of information relating to protection issues in camp IDPs’
• Update protection related organizations on current issues related to IDPs.
• In conjunction with Field Manager and other colleagues, conduct training to IDPs community and other stakeholders on human rights and IDP Protection.
• Attend meetings/seminars hosted by other NGOs and UN agencies that address protection and human rights issues in IDP camps / off camps.
• Draft reports detailing protection problems, and efforts to mitigate or eliminate them by providing viable solutions.
• Ensure that protection and the promotion of human rights is better incorporated in EHSAR programming for IDPs by providing information to supervisor in timely manner.
• Review and monitor information on IDP population movements, forced return and arbitrary arrest.
• Monitor national media for better understanding and information of IDPs places of origin situation for their safe & dignified return.
• Conduct awareness raising sessions with Off-camps IDP communities for their informed decision on return.
• Provide support in need assessment surveys for future programming.
• Work on Information, communication and education material for IDPs.
• Liaise and coordinate with all other sectors of EHSAR through Field manager for better implementation of the program.
• Submit weekly/monthly progress reports of the activities to Protection Field Manager.
• Taking on specific tasks as assigned by supervisor according to the diversification and emerging special focus of program.
• Represent EHSAR at other for a when needed and requested.
• Identify, register and reunify separated, unaccompanied and orphaned children with their families
• Ensure girls and boys are not separated or re-separated from their families

• Ensure the registration of women, girl and boys with the camp officials and equal access to the distribution of humanitarian relief and services
• Maintain contact with the camp officials, local government authorities, police, health workers, humanitarian organizations and UNICEF
• Monitor, prevent and report on (child) rights violations
• Ensure referral to available protective services for women and children (legal aid, counseling, social assistance, compensation, etc.)
• Ensure the latrine and bathing facilities are useable for women and children, including the disabled - location, size, lighting, distance from the shelters, etc.
• Ensure the camps set-up is done in such away provide privacy and safety to families- i.e. placement of shelter, lighting, etc.
• Provide information about the camps management, rules, possible compensation schemes, timing of distribution or services, etc.

• Screen for and monitor protection needs and gaps in and around the Child Friendly Spaces/CPCs.

Project Implementation
1. Ensure the smooth implementation of project in fulfillment of specified
activities, outputs and objectives.
2. Coordinate with Project Coordinator in developing draft, operational and
Project weekly, quarterly plans are in place, sanctioned, and ensure its proper
implementation and reporting.
3. Monitor project activities and assist in preparing and analyzing project
progress reports, identify gaps and taking corrective actions in coordination
with Project Coordinator.
4. Facilitate the Project Coordinator in sanction, approval and disbursement of
funds to Partner organization on required terms and conditions.
5. Facilitates project coordination and Human Resource Department and conduct
regular performance reviews, including staff appraisals and encourage the
personal development of every individual.
6. Guide an affective filing system, reporting and project documentation in
accordance with the PVDP policies.
7. Support team in conducting proposed activities as and when required;
8. Participate in coordination meetings, trainings/workshops and represent
PVDP and project on local, district and provincial level, when required.
