Core Responsibility:
Provides patients with information by explaining hospital admission policies, time of admission, room selection.
Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance.
Pre-admits patients by receiving bookings from physicians; confirming admitting privileges of physicians; interviewing patients; entering patient information to pre-admissions database.
Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures; reporting compliance issues.
Create patient bill by recording services provided to patients, and confirming them with doctors.
Maintains medicare bad-debt cost report by tracking billings; monitoring collections; compiling information.
Resolves billing issues by discussing contract with third-party payer; explaining insurance contract with patient; negotiating settlement.
Provides billing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing third-party billings, accounts pending, and late charges.
Provide administrative support which includes handling phone calls.
Handle cash and credit transactions and maintains the records of the excess/shortage of cash according to the laboratory policy and IPD advance on a daily basis
Handle cash transactions.
Check and confirm laboratory test requirements with patients and give necessary verbal / written information/ instructions so that the specimens are collected as per the lab test requirements.
Pay consultant payments as per approved shears ratio.
Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
➢ Maintains and manages inventory of materials and stocked products, which include stock
locations and profiles.
➢ Physical verification of inventory and its reconciliation with ERP.
➢ Prepare monthly issuance statement and forward to 24 Branches and Head office’s
departments.
➢ Contact to suppliers schedule deliveries or resolve shortages, missed deliveries and other
problems.
➢ Maintain an updated records of issuance at all times and submit periodical reports.
➢ Perform monthly scheduled audits, non-scheduled audits of 24Branches, accordance with the
internal audit program.
➢ Plan and arrange for clearance of dead & slow moving stock periodically.
➢ Manage Minimum & Maximum Stock Level.
➢ Develop recommendations for improving inventory system, operating efficiency, and the
adequacy.
➢ Organizing and maintain the inventory floor area to ensure efficient material storage and
handling.
➢ Obtaining quotations from suppliers, analyzing and evaluating these to make / recommend
effective purchasing decision.
➢ Make effective negotiations with suppliers for obtaining competitive prices.
➢ Review sales tax return and ensure that all invoices are properly entered.
➢ Perform other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities of
the Inventory and Procurement department and with the approval of the CEO.
➢ Perform other duties as required such as Submission of invoices of procured items to accounts
department with P.O, Invoice, & GRN.
➢ Carried out on a daily basis to check for any problems/obstructions in the building areas.
➢ Carry out pre and post inspections of reactive repairs (Equipment) within agreed time scales.
➢ Making continues Assessments of university’s student.
➢ Maintaining monthly testes records and Compile.
➢ Typing all educational syllabuses.
➢ Arrange University Educational Seminars venue.
➢ Assist staff in recordkeeping, photocopying or any other official assignment.
➢ Making faculty schedule of lectures and inform.
➢ Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office or Lab equipment.
➢ Respond to student’s parents inquiries.
➢ Pick up and deliver the mail.
➢ Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages.
➢ Reconcile physical inventories
➢ Handle customer inquiries both telepathically and by email.
➢ Provide customers with product and service information.
➢ Staying informed about the activities of sale services in a particular area.
➢ Advise and assist science teaching staff in safety matters relating to the science laboratory.
➢ Provide administrative assistance of students and Staff.
➢ Prepare samples/specimens.
➢ Timely preparation of laboratory equipment and materials for science classes.
➢ Maintaining of laboratory equipment and laboratory preparation areas.
➢ Advise science teaching staff on technical components of curriculum.
➢ Assist science teaching staff with demonstrations.
➢ Assist science teaching staff in instructing students on use/care of equipment.
➢ Assist with the use of computers and learning technologies within the department set out
equipment and materials for classroom.
➢ Assisting with the preparation of seating plans on exams.
➢ Checking attendance during Classes and exams.
