During my fieldwork in Mardan, Nowshera, Haripur, and Muzaffarabad (AJK), I gained hands-on experience in community engagement and development. I mobilized community structures at the union council and tehsil levels, encouraging active participation and creating Village and Union Development Plans (VDPs and UDs) using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools.
As Field Coordinator for Early Childhood Development (ECD), I supported budget planning and created detailed annual, quarterly, and monthly schedules for the RCC-ECD project. I also organized teacher training sessions to improve the professional development of educators in the field.
In livelihood recovery, I assessed the needs of flood victims and provided Rs 25,000 per family to support 980 affected families, helping restore their livelihoods. Collaboration with local communities and stakeholders ensured sustainable recovery.
As Field Coordinator in Gender, Good Governance, and Human Rights, I assisted in prioritizing needs and implementing community projects. I helped complete eight Community Productive Infrastructure Schemes and formed 16 village-level organizations, utilizing PRA techniques to ensure inclusive participation. I conducted participatory evaluations for program impact assessment.
I also managed the Gender-focused Sustainable Livelihood Recovery (GFSLR) project, supporting 45 families, and used the HIP-HOP technique to measure project results.
