Accountant

We are a leading medical supplier business in Lahore, Pakistan, dedicated to providing high-quality medical equipment and supplies to healthcare facilities. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team and support our financial operations.

Job Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including filing returns and maintaining records as per Pakistan’s tax laws (e.g., FBR requirements).
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
Monitor inventory costs and ensure accurate financial tracking of medical supplies.
Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all financial records are audit-ready.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

A minimum, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting field is required.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA) is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a medical, pharmaceutical, or supply chain business.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Pakistan’s tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Office (especially Excel).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English and Urdu.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
