CESET is a National Project of Science & Engineering Trust (SET). The Centre is established in 2011 in the heart of Islamabad (in the vicinity of International Islamic University, NUST and NESCOM) with a mission to create knowledge economy in special reference to the national needs. The vision of the Centre is focused on Human Resource Development for the broader objectives and scope of the Science & Engineering Trust. For the purpose, CESET aims to focus to bridging the gap between existing undergraduate and graduate education particularly in inter- and cross disciplinary programs in disciplines related to emerging sciences, engineering and allied management. CESET?s undergraduate engineering programs in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering are approved by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) whereas Software Engineering and Computer Science programs are in process of being accredited by National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC).rnrnCurrently over 32 PhDs are associated with the Centre on permanent and adjunct basis in Five broader areas, namely, Applied Radiation Physics, Material Science & Nanotechnology, Telecommunication Engineering, Advanced Electronics & Controls and Engineering Management. CESET's academic programs are in affiliation with prestigious and reputed public sector universities along with collaborative linkages with top-ranked foreign universities.
