We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team in Islamabad / Rawalpindi. This role is pivotal in managing freight operations, coordinating with drivers and brokers, and ensuring timely deliveries while negotiating competitive rates. Key Responsibilities

Dispatching Duties:

Assign loads to drivers based on availability, location, and load type to ensure efficient operations.
Communicate with drivers throughout the day to monitor progress, provide updates, and resolve issues promptly.
Track shipments using GPS tracking and dispatch software to ensure on-time deliveries.
Maintain constant communication with shippers, brokers, and customers to provide real-time updates on delivery status.
Troubleshoot and resolve driver concerns or route changes in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Hours of Service (HOS) requirements, and company policies.
Monitor driver schedules to prevent violations of driving hours and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Coordinate emergency repairs or roadside assistance for drivers as needed.
Optimize routing to improve fuel efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Document all dispatch activities, issues, and driver performance for accurate record-keeping.
Negotiate competitive rates with brokers and ensure proper paperwork is submitted for each load.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Skills: Proficiency with dispatching software software (e.g., Truckstop, DAT Load Board, or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data entry and reporting.

Skills:

Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and brokers.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills for quick, informed decisions.

Personal Attributes:

Calm and professional demeanor during urgent situations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Availability: Must be available for occasional after-hours dispatch assistance as needed.
