As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
General Accounting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including accounts payable/receivable.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments, and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Handle general ledger entries and journal postings.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Monitor and track departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to allocated limits.
Audit & Internal Controls:
- Support external auditors during audits and ensure all requested documentation is prepared.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
