Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality assurance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure effective performance and professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of quality management systems, identifying areas for improvement and initiating corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, pinpoint root causes of quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, production, and customer service, to ensure quality concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Manage complaint resolution processes, ensuring that customer feedback is appropriately addressed and used to enhance product and service quality.
  • Facilitate training programs for quality assurance staff to enhance their skills in methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and other quality improvement techniques.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, areas of concern, and proposed solutions for maintaining quality standards.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations that impact quality assurance in the retail sector, ensuring the company remains compliant and competitive.
